We recently caught up with Irvin Caldera Munoz about what it’s like to work as a Senior Accountant at JumpCloud. A typical day involves working with various departments to ensure Accounts Payable (AP) processes are completed, managing various general ledger activities, and participating in ad hoc business related projects. Located in Denver, Colorado, Irvin enjoys spending time with his family hiking, visiting local parks, and playing video games together.

When did you start working at JumpCloud? August 2019.

How did you first hear about JumpCloud? I went to the same high school as another JumpCloudian. When I saw that JumpCloud had an accounting position, I did more research on the organization and immediately knew I wanted to be a part of it.

Can you tell us about a day in the life of your role at JumpCloud? In a typical month, I work closely with various departments to make sure AP processes their invoices on a timely basis. I’m also responsible for accounting for various general ledger activities – capital assets and sales and use tax, to name a few. I also participate in one-off projects related to audit, tax or analysis purposes.

How have you evolved as an individual since you started in the company? The company-wide exposure I experienced here is unlike anything I could have imagined.
