As more and more Afghans try to leave the country, neighboring countries brace themselves for an increase in the number of migrants. Some Afghans, who have worked for Western organizations, are moving to Europe, while along the #Greek and #Turkish borders more and more barriers are being erected in an attempt to stem the immigrants.

Afghanistan, officially the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, is a landlocked country at the crossroads of Central and South Asia. Afghanistan is bordered by Pakistan to the east and south; Iran in the west; Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan to the north; and China to the northeast.
