Gail Ann Henderson Harvey Cunningham

Gail Ann Henderson Harvey Cunningham, 73 of Cleveland, was welcomed into Jesus’ arms on Thursday, August 26, 2021, as she finished her run and fought the good fight surrounded by her loving family at home.
She was born on October 17, 1947 to the late Ralph and Ila Henderson. She lived and worshiped in Cleveland for most of her life. Gail was a founding member of Blythe Avenue Baptist Church and a retired conductor, treasurer and secretary of the church. She retired from Wholesale Supply Group in January 2021 after 18 years of dedicated service as an Accounts Payable Clerk.

She was a member of the Order of the Star of the East, former Grand Representative of Nebraska (2017) and served on numerous committees during her tenure. She was an honorable lady with the Order of Amaranth. She gave the example of a hardworking woman who devoted herself to her family and to Jesus Christ. Gail loved to crochet and make hats and blankets for the whole family, reading and singing were a big passion for her. She loved to share the good news of Jesus Christ in song.

Gail was the biggest fan and bragged about her multitude of small and great-grandchildren to everyone she met.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her four children: Michael (Kathryn) Harvey, Diane (Darold) Harvey Raybon, Jason (Michelle) Harvey and Jeneda Cunningham Trentham; sisters and brothers-in-law: Susie (Rick) Starnes and Sara (George) Kyle; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Life Remembrance Ceremony will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at Big Spring Baptist Church with Reverend Jim Hindman and Reverend Joe Brooks officiating.

In lieu of flowers, we would like donations to go to Amaranth Diabetes Fund for American Diabetes Association or The Gideon International.
