KENTWOOD – Autocam Medical Devices LLC plans to invest $ 60 million over the next three years to increase production capacity in western Michigan.
The manufacturer of surgical and medical components and devices plans to build a new global headquarters and a new 100,000 square foot production facility on Broadmoor Avenue and 36th Street in Kentwood.
The company expects the expansion to create 250 additional jobs. Autocam Medical has already started hiring and plans to significantly increase its recruiting efforts over the next year.

The success of the company is due to the knowledge that employees bring to Autocam Medical every day.
Autocam, which has doubled its income and employment at the Kentwood site over the past five years, will add skilled machinists, engineers and technicians.
The new facility is scheduled to open in January 2022. The company plans to continue operating an existing production facility in Kentwood. The current headquarters will house the Autocam Zone Improvement Team which focuses on continuous improvement.
